You will join the Mobility Financial Control team and report to the Mobility Global Finance Controller. Mobility is one of Edenred Business Lines, with annual revenues of >500M€ with presence in more than 15 countries.
You are the key point of contact between the headquarters and countries’ Mobility controllers in all related matters pertaining to IT costs and Capex. Additionally, you will be responsible for month-end close and controlling of the central Mobility Business Line costs.
Furthermore, you will support the Mobility management team in all typical financial exercises such as monthly business reviews, budget, forecast, 3-year strategic plan pertaining to IT and central Business Line costs.
Main responsibilities:
IT costs and IT Capex management:
Instill a ROI-driven culture to track towards defined Group strategic orientations
Working together with the CTO of the Business Line, provide visibility into the Business Line IT spend to help drive the Tech Business Reviews, with a bi-monthly / quarterly cadence
Help implement a more robust IT costs, resources and IT Capex monitoring framework for the entities of the Business Line, to be able to track the costs per individual projects and versus forecasts / budgets
Ensure detailed monitoring of the IT spend, IT resources (FTEs) and IT Capex, between local, regional and global costs, to drive a maximum ROI of our investments and avoid duplication of costs between local, regional and global
In conjunction with the Tech Finance teams, provide visibility into the chargebacks to the different entities of the Business Line, to ensure maximum efficiency of the Group spending and avoid duplication of costs / contracts between local, regional and global
Be the sole point of contact for the Tech finance teams, providing visibility into the IT spend and its evolution
Support the different entities in the preparation of the different Investment Committees supporting presentations, being the liaison between the different stakeholders (Finance, DMS, Global Tech, entities)
Central costs of the Business Line:
In coordination with the accounting teams, ensure monthly closing cadence is respected, ensuring timely reporting of the costs
Perform timely analyses to ensure accuracy of results, identifying the root causes for gaps between budget / forecasts and actual results
As part of the Group’s cadence, ensure accurate forecasting of the central costs of the Business Line
Provide visibility to the internal stakeholders on their actual teams’ costs versus their budgets, together with appropriate justification for any positive or negative gaps
Bachelor’s degree, 8-10 years working experience in management control or finance business partnering roles, preferably in a multi-national company
Good knowledge of Accounting and IFRS standards
Excellent ability in Excel, PowerPoint, and IT tools
Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management knowledge is a plus
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and transversely in a matrix and multicultural universe
Fast-learner and ability to deal with a multitude of stakeholders
Ability to challenge and be also a partner to the local management team
English and French fluency (both spoken & written) is required
Good communicator, with ability to easily switch between big picture view and detailed view
